This is from my personal collection. It has been in storage for more than 9 years. The belts have perished and need to be replaced, but it worked fine before storing away. Because of the age and condition this item is being sold AS-IS / For Parts Or Repair. I have other priorities right now and do not need this unit. If I get the time and the unit has been unsold, I will acquire and replace the belts and sell it as refurbished and workng. For now this is a good unit for someone willing to replace the belts. The Service manual is available online. This is one of Sony's best models with all of the best features. Dolby S,3 head, 3 motor, ES series and Closed loop - dual capstan mechanism. I usually ship the next business day. I have been buying and selling hifi equipment for 20 years and I know how to pack the deck so that it arrives in the same condition it left. NO Internatonal sales!
