Experience:
For the Grade 14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the Grade 13 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes:
Experience supporting and coordinating contract work, identifying and resolving issues through proactive work with the contractor and subject matter experts; experience assessing the productivity and effectiveness of contracts; experience serving as a Contracting Officer Representative for IT projects and working with teams towards the completion of large and complex projects; experience that demonstrates broad working knowledge of contract evaluation techniques and reporting; experience in applying and managing quality assurance and control processes for large-scale projects; experience that demonstrates a mastery of contract invoicing and other techniques to monitor and measure the contract performance objectively and quantitatively. Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
