Experience:
For the GS-13, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes:
Supervising staff who perform mailroom services; Overseeing mail room operations; serving as an administrative liaison with USPS, UPS and FedEx; providing managerial level technical guidance on US Postal regulations, shipping regulations, rates and changes; reviewing and reconciling reports of postal accountability to assure reimbursement for services performed by the US Postal Service, UPS and FedEx; performing budget oversight for reconciliation of funds, such as shipping cost comparisons; and administering and monitoring mail service contracts, such as service agreements. Education:
Education cannot be substituted for experience at this level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
