Experience:
For the GS-15, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes:
Experience leading, directing, coaching, and counseling employees. Developing performance standards and evaluating employee performance. Experience developing program/project documentation, requirements, and analyses, for large scale geographic programs, and experience in monitoring schedules and work flows of geographic operations. Experience managing and leading projects to measure and assess the quality, coverage, and utility of geospatial data. Experience communicating with tribal, state, and local governments, other federal agencies, non-profit organizations, private industry, and other data users regarding geographic operations and programs. Experience presenting technical and policy recommendations to executive level management. Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
