SUPERVISORY ARCHIVES SPECIALIST
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. -Plan and direct records center operations for unclassified holdings. -Continually works to meet future requirements and conducts impact analyses; establish local records management policies that include the security and integrity of the record collections. -Support the Director in overseeing and managing all fiscal aspects and financial performance of the WNRC; prepare the initial annual workload estimate and the initial annual budget estimate for the unclassified records center operation. -Develop and maintain management controls to curb fraud, waste and abuse; and submits annual assurance statements for the WNRC Records Center Unclassified Operations Division to the Center Director. You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience at the GS-12 level:
For the GS-12, specialized experience is defined as one year of experience at the GS-11 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes
Experience:
- Managerial experience managing agency staff. AND - Analyzing, evaluating or developing formal policies and procedures related to reimbursable records management and services.; AND - Has developed methods, organizational structures, or management processes to better service both internal and external customers. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11level for 52 weeks.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
