Experience:
For the GG-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes:
advising senior-level management and program officials on complex staffing and recruitment issues; interpreting and applying Federal laws, rules, and regulations governing recruitment, placement of employees, and classification; performing authoritative consulting functions that require creating new techniques; formulating objectives to develop strategic short-term and long-term hiring solutions; influencing and persuading managers to accept recommendations on hiring matters; providing oversight and evaluating the effectiveness of numerous HR functional requirements. Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
