OR Education:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree that provided you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work of a Program Analyst. Specialized
Experience:
For the GS-11, For the GS-11, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes:
conducting research and using quantitative or qualitative methods to identify procedural problems; communicating progress of on-going activities in a fasted paced work environment; using software packages to manipulate datasets, create reports and data visualizations; providing technical advice on program operations; analyzing and managing various projects. OR Education:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree that provided you with knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work of a Program Analyst. Specialized
Experience:
For the GS-12, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes:
conducting research and developing processes and procedures; communicating progress of on-going activities in a fasted paced work environment; using software packages to manipulate datasets, create reports and data visualizations; providing technical advice on program operations; analyzing and managing various projects. Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
