Experience:
For the GS-12, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes supporting an agency investment review process, to include providing assistance to program areas conducting mission critical programs as part of the investment review process; evaluating and monitoring programs and projects within the portfolio; analyzing cost, schedule, and performance data to determine the status of programs or projects; presenting program or project reviews to stakeholders and staff; and/or developing standard operating procedures and other technical guidance. Experience for this position includes developing or managing an agency investment review process, to include providing guidance and assistance to program areas conducting mission critical programs as part of the investment review process; evaluating, authorizing, and continuously monitoring programs and projects within the portfolio; analyzing cost, schedule, and performance data to determine the status of proposed and ongoing programs and projects; presenting program and project reviews to stakeholders and staff; and/or developing standard operating procedures, policies and other technical guidance. Education:
Education can not be substituted for this level.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
