BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

Experience:
GRADE 07For the GS-07, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-06 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes:
assisting in the preparation of administrative documents, such as budget planning documents, procurement requests, requests for phone and equipment service/repair, and requests for keys, and maintaining personal property control and inventory of office supplies and equipment; reviewing and maintaining time and attendance reports and notifying timekeepers of problems/discrepancies to be resolved; receiving/distributing mail; maintaining and updating operating procedures and manuals; maintaining employee records; reviewing travel orders and vouchers; scheduling meetings; developing and maintaining an office tracking system; and/or proofreading, editing, and preparing correspondence.Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level. GRADE 08For the GS-08, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes:
work experience updating and maintaining automated systems; assisting with the preparation and planning of projects; researching information for assigned projects; assisting in the preparation of policy and procedures; scheduling meetings; developing and maintaining an office tracking system; assisting in the preparation of administrative documents, such as budget planning documents, procurement requests, requests for phone and equipment service/repair, and requests for keys; maintaining personal property control and inventory of office supplies and equipment; receiving, tracking, and responding to facilities complaints; reviewing and maintaining time and attendance reports and notifying timekeepers of problems/discrepancies to be resolved; receiving/distributing mail; maintaining and updating operating procedures and manuals; maintaining employee records; reviewing travel orders and vouchers; and/or proofreading, editing and preparing correspondence.Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
