Senior Network Systems Administrator (Government)

AT&T Government Solutions is looking for an experienced Network Systems Administrator (SYSAD) supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) Program Office. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Provide operations and maintenance support for Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 in a classified enterprise environment. Work is 100% on government site location. 2) Assume the role of technical SYSAD lead, oftentimes mentoring junior personnel. 3) Participate in technical planning, project coordination, scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and operational support requirements. 4) Develop, deploy and manage professional service solutions to support govt network. 5) Assess current network server systems and make recommendations for improvements based on customer business and technical requirements. 6) Engineer and analyze complex LAN and WAN systems, including planning, designing, evaluating and selecting operating systems and protocol suites. 7) Resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across all platforms including email, file transfer, multimedia and teleconferencing. 8) Support acquisition of hardware and software, as well as vendor services based on technical requirements. 9) Expect CONUS and OCONUS travel to support regional network implementation REQUIRED: 1) Current active TS/SCI clearance (must have current SSBI), reported in JPAS. 2) Eight (8) or more years of IT/SYSAD experience supporting Govt customers. 3) Bachelor's Degree in information technology related field. 4) Active CompTIA Security+ certification. 5) Experience with: MS Exchange Server, MS SQL Server (up to and including ver 2012), DNS in a Windows environment, Windows 2008/2012/2016 server operating systems, Windows 7/Windows 10 desktop operating systems, server patching/software loading, NetApp or enterprise data storage systems, VMWare virtual server environments, PowerShell scripting, Active Directory and classified network security documentation development. 6) Excellent communication skills (written and oral); able to effectively interact with customers, partners, and associates at all levels, both in person and through virtual telecommunication systems. DESIRED: 1) Former DoD (military or civilian) experience desirable. 2) At least one other professional certification in the IT field, such as MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, CISSP, ITIL, etc. 3) Experience with the FlexPod configuration of NetApp/Cisco pre-configured appliances. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
