Parsons is supporting the Office of Naval Intelligence / Intelligence Analysis and Data Support (ONI IADS) Program Office in all aspects of software engineering. The selected engineer will work with our client and provide coordination, surveillance and oversight of Prime Contractor activities for software design, production, testing, fielding, operational performance. Specifically you will: Review Prime Contractor software engineering plans for feasibility and quality controlsSupport all Prime Contractor and Subcontractors software engineering reviews to insure qualityRepresent TC in software design working groups Participate in pedigree reviews with focus on As Designed As Built (ADAB) recordsReview Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to ensure that it reflects a sound development timeline based on planned workflowSupport Objective Evidence (OE) review for all Product Acceptance Reviews (PARs)Provide inputs to risk management Processes for any software related risks QualificationsQualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline + 10 or more years substantive related work experience; OR Master's degree + 6 or more years related work experience; OR PhD + 4 years or more of related work experience MA and PhD degrees must be directly related to the disciplines listed Experience in developing, integrating, and maintaining software for M&S applications using C++. Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow, Python, and/or Qt Working knowledge of UML/SysML required Proficiency in the use of software version control and issue tracking tools (eg Apache Subversion, JIRA, Mantis, GIT, YouTrack, Gforge) Experience documenting (eg Software Version Description (SVD), Software User's Manual (SUM), and Interface Control Document (ICD) and demonstrating software solutions (ie requirements, design, test reviews) Software engineering experience involving end-to-end software development, to include requirements engineering, software design, construction, testing, maintenance, and configuration management Experience using Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect and/or IBM Rational Enterprise Architecture is strongly desired The following additional experience is strongly desired: Development experience with inter-process communications using HLA, TENA, DIS, UDP, and/or TCP/IP Development experience with multi-threaded applications in a Linux environment Programming real-time systems Programming displays, controls, and man-machine interfaces The candidate must be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills, and be willing to work as part of an integrated product team consisting of both Government and contractor personnel. Active Top Secret clearance is required. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
