Job Description: The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for all facets of accounting, reporting, inventory control, data base integrity and profitability at branch level. This individual needs to possess a thorough understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) rules and regulations. The Accounting Supervisor will report directly to the District Accounting Manager with a dotted line to the District General Manager and Regional Team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee Accounting Administrators
Read, interpret and analyze profitability statements
Perform Budget and Forecast functions
Daily, Weekly and Monthly Sales and Operational Reports
Inventory control
Monthly reconciliations
Accounts Receivable and accountability
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications: Four-year Accounting degree required; CPA preferred.
Proficient knowledge of Excel.
Working knowledge of financial enterprise level systems.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Excellent customer service skills.
Five plus years accounting experience.
Ability to work flexible hours during certain weeks (close weeks).
Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines.
