General Description:
The Administrative Assistant I will greet the public coming into the property, answers telephone call inquiries and directs them accordingly.
Will Interact with the residents at the property.
Assist the Community Manager with daily tasks such as making appointments, managing calls and emails as well as perform a variety of general clerical tasks associated with the operation of the office.

Specific Duties:
Basic knowledge of Computer Software such as Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook.
Open and log incoming mail, and prepares outgoing mail or other outgoing material for delivery.
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Maintain confidential applicant and resident records and updating such records and files.
Conduct recertification interviews and adjust rental records of residents who receive federally subsidized housing assistance.
Coordinate with the Community Manager on handling resident work orders and resident complaints.
Plan resident meetings and take detailed minutes for Community Manager.
Develop and Maintain a filing system.
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Community Manager.
