Senior Automation Architect
Piper Companies is seeking an Senior Automation Architect to play a pivotal role in the system development cycle and consult with end users to evaluate business requirements into design specifications.
The Senior Automation Architect will work with all levels of the business, ensuring IT deliverables align with business requirements, with measurable results.
Responsibilities of the Senior Automation Architect include:
oDesign, develop and execute complex automated software test plans in order to identify and address user problems and their causesoAnalyze risk identifiers and develop documentation addressing software defect diagnostics and proposed solutions in the areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, retests, or usabilityoDesign and develop testing processes and direct software application testing, leveraging knowledge of computer science and software development principles and utilizing cloud technologies, automation tools and frameworks including Selenium and Appium, and programming languages such as JavaScript and PythonoEarly stages of integration with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and othersoOversee quality testing efforts including process design and standards, effort estimation, resource forecasting and fulfillment, and task and risk management, including functional, performance, regression and roll-back testingQualifications for the Senior Automation Architect include:
oBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience/knowledgeoSenior Automation Test professional with 8
years of experience and a track record of being a difference makeroStrong programming skills in at least one of the following languages - Python, JavaScript, Java, or RubyoStrong experience with Appium and/or SeleniumoExperience in integrating test frameworks with cloud test services, such as SauceLabs or BrowserStackCompensation for the Senior Automation Architect include:
oContract $75-80/hr W2oSalary $165-175K baseoFull benefits coverage, 401K Recommended Skills Scalability Automation Software Engineering.
Net Framework Test Automation Java (Programming Language) Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
