SAS Data Step Developer
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented professional to support our US Census Bureau client.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Assist with the analysis of requirementsThe position includes writing and modifying SAS code to produce complicated data tables and/or output related to dissemination (eg, xml)Work on a cross-functional teamClear communication and problem-solving abilityDevelopment in an agile-style environmentRequired Qualifications:

years of experience using SAS in a Linux/Unix environmentSAS programming experience with macros, proc sql, data steps, hashesProficient in Unix/Linux operating system conceptsProficient in at least one shell scripting languageProficient in either Perl or PythonExcellent communication skillsAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to pass a US Government Background investigation
Qualifications:
SAS CertificationHands on experience with Agile/Hybrid projectAuthoring technical documentsEducation Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Applied Math required.
Clearance Requirement:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
