Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

We have an excellent opportunity for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with our industry-leading security client in Suitland.
In this role, you will ensure all computing, communication, network, and control equipment comply with relevant federal IT security requirements.
This is a contract to hire position.
Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Current CISSP certification also required.
Responsibilities of the Information Systems Security Officer:
Coordinate, document, and manage annual system assessment and authorization activities Draw on extensive experience and knowledge of federal security guidelines and PM techniques to accomplish goals Ensure all networks, devices, and equipment are compliant with FISMA and related federal security IT requirements Requirements of the Information Systems Security Officer:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field and CISSP certification At least 8 years of experience in a related field, including IT project management Knowledge of federal information system security guidelines Experience with security monitoring systems and solid networking knowledge Passion for problem solving and making data-driven decisions Ability to drive projects forward to completion Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver to deadlines Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Job ID:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
